MEXICAN WEDDING CAKES 
2 c. butter (only) !
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Stir flour, baking soda and salt into mixture slowly and beat well after addition. Chill at least 30 minutes. Roll into ball by hand. Place small ovals of mixture on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
