FRUIT CHILI SAUCE | |
20 ripe tomatoes 8 peaches 8 pears 6 lg. onions 2 red peppers 4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. salt 1 qt. vinegar 2 tbsp. whole mixed spices Wash fruits and vegetables. Peel tomatoes, peaches, pears and onions. Cut or chop fine, chop peppers fine. Tie spices in bag. Cook all together until cooked 1/2 down (1 1/2 to 2 hours). Pack in sterilized jars. Makes 16 1/2 pints. |
