3 c. flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. lard
1 pt. buttermilk

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in lard. Make a well in the center and pour in milk. Mix together quickly. Knead gently. Roll out dough and cut biscuits. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Yield: 30 biscuits.
