QUICK & EASY APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 (10 oz.) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Apples, cored
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Roll each biscuit into 5 1/2 inch circle. Place 1/2 of apple onto each circle. Moisten edges of dough. Pinch together, place dumplings in 8 inch square pan.

Combine sugar, water, vanilla and butter; bring to a boil. Then pour syrup over dumplings. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until dumplings are golden. Baste during baking with syrup.
