STRAWBERRY JAM OR TOPPING 
3 qts. boiling water
1 qt. berries
3 c. sugar

Pour boiling water over berries and pour right off again. Then add 2 cups sugar. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Then add 1 additional cup of sugar. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from stove and pour into a shallow glass or Tupperware pan. Let stand for 24 hours. Seal cold and put away.
