CARAMEL FROSTING 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup Carnation evaporated milk
2 cups confectioners' sugar

Boil butter, brown sugar and milk for about 1 minute. Remove from heat, beat and cool to lukewarm. Add confectioners' sugar and beat until smooth. Spread on cooled cake. Place pecans or walnut halves on top.
