BEAN SALAD 
1 can French green beans
1 can mixed Chinese vegetables
1 sm. can LeSeur green peas
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Slivered almonds; optional

Drain vegetables.

MARINADE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. oil
Salt and pepper

Heat to melt sugar. Pour over vegetables and marinate overnight.
