KOLACHES (SAUSAGE) 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 c. flour
2 pkg. yeast
Polish sausage cut in slices

Dissolve 2 pkg. yeast in 2 cups warm water. Combine shortening, sugar and salt with dissolved yeast and stir in 6 cups of flour. Place in greased bowl and place in ice box. Chill 3 to 4 hours, then shape and let rise. ( Shape around slice of sausage). Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
