BUTTER AND NUT CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 whole eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sweet milk
2 tbsp. butter and nut flavoring

Bake 35 minutes at 300 degrees in 3 layers. Batter will be thin.

FILLING:

1 stick butter
1 box confectioners sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. butter and nut flavoring

Soften butter and cream cheese together before adding other ingredients.
