FRENCH CHICKEN 
12 pieces chicken, skinned
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 c. white wine
1 sm. jar chopped pimentos, drained
1/2 c. sliced or slivered almonds
1 tsp. paprika

Place chicken in rectangular baking dish. Sprinkle with salt. Combine flour and sour cream and mix until smooth. Add salt, soup and wine. Mix well. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with pimento, almonds and paprika. Place in preheated 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Smells wonderful, like bread baking. Serve with rice, colorful vegetable, gelatin salad and French bread. Great for buffets.
