COMPANY SALAD | |
2 sm. pkg. lemon Jello 3 c. hot water 1 (#2) can crushed pineapple (reserve juice) 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows 3 bananas, cubed 1 egg, beaten 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 pt. whipping cream Sharp Cheddar cheese 1 c. pineapple juice Dissolve Jello in 3 cups hot water. Cool. Add crushed pineapple, bananas and marshmallows. Chill in 9x13 inch dish until firm. Heat reserved juice in top of double boiler. Add flour and sugar to beaten egg. Mix in with juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool, fold in whipped cream. Spread over Jello, shredded cheese generously over all. Cut in squares. Nuts may be added to Jello mixture. |
