PEACH DELIGHT | |
1ST LAYER: 2 c. self-rising flour 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 c. nuts, chopped 2ND LAYER: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 (8 oz.) carton whipping cream or Cool Whip 3RD LAYER: 4 c. sliced fresh peaches 4TH LAYER: 1 c. sugar 4 tbsp. flour 4 tbsp. peach Jello 1 c. water 1st Layer: Mix flour, butter, chopped nuts and spread in a 9 x 12 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely. 2nd Layer: Mix well cream cheese, powdered sugar, Cool Whip or whipping cream. Spread on cooled crust. 3rd Layer: Spread fresh sliced peaches on top of second layer. 4th Layer: Mix sugar, flour and Jello well. Stir in water. Cook over medium heat until thick and clear. Cool completely. Pour over third layer and spread evenly. Refrigerate. Serves 12-16. |
