RUSSIAN TEA | |
8 c. water 1 tsp. whole allspice 3/4 c. sugar 1 med. size pineapple juice 1 tsp. whole cloves 1 stick cinnamon 1 sm. can frozen orange juice 2 tea bags 1/4 c. lemon juice Heat 2 cups water in small pan. Add spices and boil 3 to 4 minutes. Take off heat, add tea bags and steep 3 to 4 minutes. In large pan, add 6 cups water, sugar and juices. Strain liquid from small pan into large pan mixture. Keeps well. Can even be frozen and heated to serve. Great for colds and sore throats. |
