2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1 c. buttermilk

Mix flour and sugar together. Boil water, butter and cocoa, then pour over the flour mixture. Beat eggs, oil, buttermilk, soda and vanilla together. Add to mix. Pour in cookie sheet.

Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.

Icing:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar

Boil butter, cocoa, milk and vanilla. Pour on cake while hot.
