PINON 
3 ripe plantains
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. tomato sauce
1/2 chopped onion
1 can string beans
2 pkgs. sazon (Goya brand)
8 eggs

Cut plantains in half, slice lengthwise and fry until golden brown. Drain and set aside. Brown and drain beef. Season to taste with sazon. Add tomato sauce and sauteed onions. Heat string beans. Make 2 crepes (4 eggs each) for bottom and top of pie.

Using a deep dish 9 inch pie plate, layer ingredients: 2. plantains 3. beef 4. green beans 5. plantains 6. crepe

Heat if needed. Serve sliced as you would warm pie, with white rice and kidney beans. Serves 4.
