PUMPKIN TORTE 
BOTTOM LAYER:

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter
1 slightly beaten egg

FILLING:

1 lg. can Libby's pumpkin pie filling
2 eggs
2/3 c. milk

TOPPING:

1 c. reserved cake mix
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
1/4 c. butter

Mix bottom layer ingredients well and press into bottom of 9 x 13 pan. (Reserve 1 cup of cake mix for topping). Mix filling and pour over bottom layer. Blend topping until crumbly. Sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 75 minutes. Should be firm in center. Serve topper with whipped cream.
