1/2 lb. Muellins lasagna (1/2 box) 2 lb. hamburger 1 lb. cottage cheese - Borden's small curd creamy Pizza and Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 (4 oz.) pkg. pizza cheese use in recipe 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese 1/4 c. flavored bread crumb mix (sprinkle on top) 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 (32 oz.) meat sauce 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese Mix cottage cheese, 4 ounce pizza cheese, bread crumbs, salt and egg. Boil lasagna in 2 quart salted water and 1/2 tablespoon of oil (oil prevents noodles from sticking together). Cook 5 to 7 minutes and drain. Cook hamburger, add meat sauce. Pour 1/2 of meat sauce mixture in dish. Cut lasagna strips in half. Spoon portion of cheese mix on lasagna strips and roll. Arrange monicotti in single layer over sauce. Spoon remaining sauce on top. Sprinkle 8 ounce package Mozzarella cheese on top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, uncovered. |
