OVEN STEW OR FIREMEN'S STEW 
2 lb. beef stew meat, cut up
6 carrots, cut up
4 med. potatoes, cut up in quarters
1 med. onion, cut up
2 stalks celery, cut up
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. Accent
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. tapioca
1 1/2 c. V-8 juice

Put meat in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Add vegetables on top of meat. Mix dry ingredients. Sprinkle over vegetables and meat. Add liquid. Cover pan with foil, sealing tightly or use pan with tight-fitting cover. Bake for 4 hours in 350 degree oven. Serves 6.
