PECAN PIE SQUARES 
CRUST:

3 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3/4 tsp. salt

Beat flour, sugar, butter and salt until crumbly. Press down firmly in pan. Bake in greased jelly roll pan at 350 degrees until light golden brown (about 20 minutes).

FILLING:

4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Pour filling evenly over crust. Bake until filling is set (about 25 minutes). Yield: 70 (1 1/2 inch) squares.
