TURKEY STEW MADE BY SECOND GRADE
(FEEDS 20 TO 24 HUNGRY ONES)
 
4 lb. ground turkey
1/8 lb. butter or 3 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. garlic powder
6 lg. potatoes
2 lb. carrots
2 cans corn
1 can string beans
6 cans chicken broth
1 tbsp. corn starch
1 tsp. fine herbs
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. parsley slakes
3 minced onions

Saute crumbled turkey and onions in butter. Add seasonings. Add chicken bouillon (skim if it canned). Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add carrots and potatoes simmer until they are tender.

When they are tender, add corn and string beans. Simmer for a few minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste. Add corn starch to thicken. Cook 2 more minutes. Serve in a bowl with bread and butter. Serves 24.
