JOYCE'S STRAWBERRY SQUARES 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. butter
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
2 c. fresh or frozen strawberries (2 cans) drained
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 carton (9 oz.) Cool Whip

Stir together first four ingredients, spread evenly in small pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes (stirring occasionally). Sprinkle 2/3 of the crumbs in a 9 x 13 pan. Combine egg whites, unbeaten sugar, berries and lemon juice in large bowl. Electric beat 10 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip and pour over crumbs. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Store in freezer.
