MARINATED GRILLED SHRIMP 
1/3 c. sherry
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 lb. large, fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/3 c. sesame seed oil
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Combine above (except shrimp) in shallow dish and mix well. Add shrimp, coat well. Cover and chill for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Drain shrimp. Save marinade.

Place shrimp on 6 (14 inch) skewers. Grill over medium-hot coals for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, basting frequently with marinade.
