BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed rip bananas (4)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Fold in sour cream; set aside.

In separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold into creamed mixture. Stir to blend. Add chocolate chips and pecans.

Separate bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.

Grease and flour loaf pan. Pour into batter to 1/2 full. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture (generous). Add remaining batter. Top with additional chocolate chips and cinnamon/sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes (two 4x8 inch loaf pans) or 1 1/2 hours in one large Bundt pan.
