1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. lemon juice
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream the following ingredients; 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup shortening, 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, and 2 cups flour. Pat into 9 x 11 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients 3 to 4 minutes. Pour over pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with sifted confectioners sugar. Cool and cut in squares.
