SWEET-SOUR BAKED BEANS 
1 lg. onion, sliced into rings (red onion adds color)
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
2 (15 oz.) cans butter beans, drained
1 lb. can green lima beans, drained
2 (27 oz.) cans New England-style baked beans, undrained

Place onions, sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and vinegar in large skillet. Cook (covered) for about 20 minutes. In 3-quart casserole, combine beans, bacon and onion mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
