3 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 c. scalded milk, cooled 1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water 1/4 c. butter 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 5 c. flour Mix eggs, milk, butter, yeast, salt, and sugar. Beat lightly. Add flour 1 cup at a time. Mix well. cover and let rise at room temperature for 2 hours. Place dough on floured board and pat out until smooth. DO NOT KNEAD! Cut out dough and fold once. Place in buttered pan; let rise 2 hours. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. |
