RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 2 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped walnuts Confectioners' sugar Beat together butter and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar until creamy and fluffy. Gradually mix in flour. Stir in vanilla, salt and walnuts. Using level tablespoon of dough, shape into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until done but not browned. When cool remove and roll in confectioners' sugar. |
