2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
5 eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sweet milk
3 c. all-purpose flour

Beat sugar, Crisco and butter together; until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. Add flavoring any time. Add half milk, half flour, beat until smooth, the add rest of milk and flour. Beat on low speed, then turn on high. Beat until creamy. Bake slow at 300°F for 1 1/2 hour. Don't forget to grease and flour pan.
