CHOCO-PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk

Sift together first 4 ingredients; set aside.

Cream next 2 ingredients. Gradually add sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients alternately with milk. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Press with fork for lattice design. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-9 minutes.
