Combine in salad bowl:

1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. grated cheese (any kind, Swiss is very good)
1 #2 can English peas, well drained

Add enough mayonnaise to hold it together. Salt and pepper, if desired, to taste. I usually line a serving salad bowl with lettuce leaves and pour or place the mixed salad on the lettuce bed and top with paprika to add color.
