CHOCOLATE-OATMEAL PIE 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. quick oats
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 (9 inch) pie shell

Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored, about 3 minutes. Continue beating and add sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla. Stir in coconut, oats, and chocolate. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. The pie will be dark. Cool completely before serving. This makes 10- 12 servings.
