1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. tomato sauce, divided
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 c. water

Combine first six ingredients and 1/2 cup tomato sauce in large bowl. Mix well and shape into 6 loaves. Place into 9 inch pan.

Combine 1/2 cup tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and water. Mix and pour over loaves. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes basting occasionally. Serve over rice. Makes 6 servings.
