MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. self rising meal
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 c. cream style corn
2/3 c. cooking oil
2 tbsp. chopped bell pepper
2 jalapeno peppers
1 c. grated cheese

Mix all ingredients except cheese. Pour 1/2 batter into a cold well greased iron skillet. Add layer of cheese. Pour remaining batter to cover layer of cheese. Bake until done 30 to 40 minutes at 400 degrees.
