SESAME THINS 
2 c. sifted regular flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (about 2 oz.) pkg. sesame seeds
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and egg. Add butter and vanilla. Combine remaining dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture. Mix dough and chill until firm. Roll a teaspoon of dough at a time into small balls between palms, roll in seeds in pie plate. Place 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
