TOASTED SESAME COOKIES 
2 (2 1/8 oz.) jars sesame seeds (1 c.)
2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter, softened
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg

Toast seeds in skillet, stirring often. Blend ingredients in mixer. Fold in 1/2 cup toasted seeds. Shape dough into ovals and roll in seeds. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased sheets about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
