HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
1/4 c. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. butter
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. sherry

Saute' onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in meat and brown. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Cook five minutes. Stir in soup and simmer uncovered for another 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat thoroughly and serve over noodles or rice.
