WILD RICE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
2 chopped carrots
1 onion
2 celery stalks
1 can mushrooms
1 c. wild rice, uncooked
1 c. white rice, uncooked
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can potato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
5 c. milk
2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Prepare wild rice as directed on package. Drain after done. Meanwhile, brown ground beef and add vegetables while browning. Set aside. Prepare white rice as directed. Set aside. In large kettle (5 quart or larger) combine soups. Add milk and grated cheese. Bring to initial boil. Add beef, vegetables and rices. Simmer for 1 hour or so. Add more milk for desired thickness (the soup thickens as it simmers). Makes almost 5 quarts. Freezes well.
