KRAUT BEROK 
1 lg. head cabbage, chopped
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 lbs. hamburger
Favorite bread dough recipe

Prepare bread dough. Then brown onion in oil. Add chopped cabbage and cook for about 1 hour. Add hamburger which has been lightly cooked. Cook all another 15 minutes; salt and pepper to taste.

Pockets: Roll dough on floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into squares, about 5 x 5 inches. Make one at a time. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons filling in center of each square. Immediately lift up corners and pinch shut to form a large X. Seal by gently pressing edges together. Serve hot.
