HONEY - NUT BREAD | |
1 egg 3/4 c. honey 3/4 c. milk 3 c. all-purpose flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped nuts Beat egg well. Continue beating while adding honey in a fine stream. Stir in milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Combine 2 mixtures, mixing well. Stir in nuts. Place in a greased and floured loaf pan. Let stand for about 1 hour. Bake in 325 degree oven for about 1 hour or until loaf tests done. |
