12 oz. chocolate chips 12 oz. butterscotch chips 2 c. peanut butter 1 c. butter 1/4 c. dry vanilla pudding mix, not instant 1 lb. peanuts 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 tsp. maple flavoring 2 lbs. sifted powdered sugar Melt chips and peanut butter together over very low in double boiler or microwave. Put 1/2 in buttered jelly roll pan. Put in refrigerator or freezer. (Cover the remaining 1/2 in pan). Cook together and boil for one minute the butter, pudding mix and evaporated milk. Add maple flavoring. Pour into large bowl and add powdered sugar, mix thoroughly. Spread this on top of first layer and refrigerate again. Add the peanuts to the remaining chocolate mixture and spread over second layer. Refrigerate and cut into 1 inch squares. |
