FRESH PEACH TORTE 
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
3 tsp. sugar
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 lg. (13 oz.) Cool Whip
2 c. sugar
8 tbsp. cornstarch
3 c. orange juice
8 peaches

Mix until crumbled - butter, flour and sugar. Press in 9 x 13 inch Pyrex dish. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix confectioners' sugar, cream cheese and cream well. Add Cool Whip - pour over cooled crust. Mix orange juice, sugar and cornstarch - cook until thick - cool. Peel and slice 8 peaches and add to cool juice mixture. Pour over Cool Whip mixture and chill.

Serves 12.
