SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
6-8 cooked, peeled sweet potatoes or 2 (29 oz.) canned yams
2/3 c. sugar
1 stick softened butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. scalded milk

TOPPING:

2 c. chopped pecans
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks softened butter
2/3 c. flour

Mix first 8 ingredients well, using electric mixer. Pour into buttered 9x13 inch baking dish (or 3 quart casserole). Blend topping ingredients well and spread over mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for about 35 minutes. Serves 12-14.
