HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2/3 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/3 c. flour
3 tbsp. shortening

Combine ground beef, cracker crumbs, evaporated milk, flour and seasoned flour. Mix lightly, but thoroughly. Shape into 60 balls. Roll in flour and brown in shortening. Drain off excess fat. Prepare Sweet and Sour Sauce. Pour over meatballs and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.

Serves 6.

Sweet and Sour Sauce:

1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. green bell peppers, cut into 1/2-inch squares
1 tbsp. chopped pimento

Drain pineapple chunks. Measure syrup and add water to make 1 cup liquid. Blend into cornstarch. Stir in vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce and lemon juice. Cook until thick and clear. Add pineapple, pepper and pimento and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
