APPLE ROLL UPS 
SYRUP:

2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix water, sugar, butter and cinnamon; cook 5 minutes and set aside.

DOUGH:

2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. Crisco
1/2 c. milk

Combine flour, soda and salt; cut in Crisco. Mix in milk. Roll enough dough out on floured board for each roll-up. Cover with thin layer of sliced apples and roll up. Slice into 1/2 inch thickness. Lay flat in 13x9 inch pan or 2 pie dishes. Pour syrup over roll-ups. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
