SPANISH CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. whole kernel corn
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
16 oz. tomato sauce (Ragu spaghetti sauce works well)
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1 c. water
Salt and pepper

In bottom of 2 quart casserole put 1 cup rice and add corn (be sure to drain). Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add 8 ounces tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water. Add the chopped pepper and onion. Add hamburger and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add the rest of the tomato sauce and the rest of the water. Cover and cook for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove cover and cook for 1/2 hour more.
