GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
10 potatoes, sliced & steamed 1/3 c. bacon grease 1/3 c. water 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 lb. bacon, cooked & crumbled 1/3 c. white vinegar 2 tbsp. parsley 1/2 c. chopped celery In a large bowl mix potatoes, bacon, parsley and pepper. Saute onion and celery in bacon grease. Add vinegar and water to satiated mixture. Continue to cook about 5 minutes. Pour hot mixture over potato mixture. Stir and serve. |
