TOMATO GRAVY 
Fat back meat or bacon or butter
1 pt. tomatoes
Milk

Fry meat to the fat. Add 1 pint tomatoes, breaking tomatoes apart while heating. If you want a smoother gravy, puree tomatoes in blender before adding to fat. Boil 5 minutes.

Meanwhile mix heaping tablespoon of flour with a little hot water and get all the lumps out. Add this to hot tomatoes. Immediately add milk. Stir until it smooths out and desired consistency.

NOTE: This is good eaten with cheese toast or corn bread.
