GROUND BEEF VEGETABLE FRICASSEE | |
1/4 c. onion, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 1 lb. lean ground beef 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. hot water 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1/2 tsp. garlic salt Melt 1 tablespoon oil in skillet and saute onions and celery until slightly softened. Add beef and cook until mixture turns gray. Blend in flour. Add hot water and stir until thickened. Add seasonings; cover and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Season again to taste. Serve in a nest of hot creamed potatoes. Yields 4 servings. |
