VINEGAR AND EGG PIE CRUST | |
1 well beaten egg 1/2 c. ice water 1 tsp. vinegar, cider 1/2 lb. or 1 c. lard 3 c. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. salt In small bowl mix first 3 ingredients. In separate bowl mix flour and salt; cut in lard until the size of peas. Slowly add liquid small amounts at a time to flour and lard mixture. Roll onto floured board. Makes enough for 2 single crust pies or 1 double crust. |
