MEATBALLS IN GINGER SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. instant onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Form into 1-inch balls and broil until browned, turning once.

SAUCE:

1-1/2 c. water
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 beef bouillon cubes
2-1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. coarse gingersnap crumbs

Boil first 4 ingredients until cubes are dissolved; add crumbs and cook a few minutes until dissolved. Pour over meat balls in saucepan and simmer 20 minutes; or place in crock pot.
